Board of Directors
The Lakeside Homeowners Association is governed by the Lakeside Board of Directors. The Board consists of five voting members who are elected by the residents of the Lakeside community.
President: Chris Harris
Chris has lived in Elk Grove for the past five years. She graduated from the University of La Verne in Southern California with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. She began her human resources career fifteen years ago. She currently works as the Human Resources Director for two automobile dealerships. She is serving her third year on the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. She has chaired the Chamber's 4th of July "Salute to the Red, White & Blue" committee, assisted with the Strauss Festival, served on the Elk Grove Citizen of the Year Committee and has volunteered for other various civic activities. She takes immense pride in being a resident of Elk Grove.
Vice President: Irene Capps
Irene and her family have resided in the Lakeside Community since 1999. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Government from California State University , Sacramento . Irene believes it takes the whole neighborhood to raise a child. Family is very important to Irene and she works to set a good example for her daughter. She is very committed to community service and has volunteered many hours to the Lakeside HOA prior to seeking a Board seat. She has headed up the former Fall Harvest Festival at the clubhouse and opening day ceremonies at the pool. She has also headed up family activities in her own neighborhood development (Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Parade, etc.). In addition to serving on the Lakeside Board of Directors, she served as VP and Secretary for the Stone Lake Elementary PTO, co-chaired various school committees, publisher of the school's newspaper and regularly helps with fund-raising events to support many of the area's charitable organizations. Irene believes that Lakeside is the best place to live and raise a family. In her little bit of free time, she loves to dabble in making jewelry and putting together family scrapbooks.

Cliff has been a resident of the Sacramento area since 1970, and, Elk Grove since 2003. Before he retired in 2002, he was in State Government for 41 years. During that time, he gathered a great deal of varied experience and knowledge primarily in the administrative, technical and financial areas within and related to local, State, National and International Energy and Transportation issues. For a brief time, four years, he owned and managed a private business in central California. Since he retired:
- Past President of the Lakeside Owners' and the Heritage Lakeside Homeowners' Associations.
- Current/Founding member: West Elk Grove Alliance: Comprising: Lakeside, StoneLake, and Laguna West Association Home Owner Association Board members and active residents.
- Past member of both the City of Elk Grove's Charter Exploratory and Charter Development Commissions.
- Twice ran for and was not elected to the Cosumnes Community Services District Board. Maybe three times is a charm.
As a current member of the Board, Cliff will work with the other members of the Board and the residents of our Community to make Lakeside an area we all can continue to be proud of.
